🔍 Intro

We already featured 13 practice video articles with pro and college coaches, and today it's time for our 14th Practice session article here on volleybrains.com.

👊 The coach who's guiding us today

Dave Shondell is the head coach of Purdue University's volleyball program.

For more on Dave's coaching journey and how he shapes his players and program, go over to our Masterclass that we recorded with him a while back.

In the 2023 season, the Purdue Boilermakers finished among the top 15 for the fourth time in the last five years with its No. 13 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll final ranking. As a team, the Boilermakers finished among the top 15 in kills, blocks, and assists on their way to finishing the year third in the Big Ten standings with a 23-9 (15-5 Big Ten) record.

A big thanks to Dave for giving us a peek into where Purdue wants to improve and what they are focusing on to start strong in the coming BIG10 season.
